Here are the basic rules of baccarat:

The goal of the game is to bet correctly on the hand of the banker or the player. The hand that’s closest to the number 9 wins. Cards between 2 and 9 are worth their face value, while 10s through Kings are worth 0, and aces are worth 1.

Before the cards are dealt, players can bet on three possible outcomes:

• The player will win
• The banker will win
• They’ll tie

Once bets are placed, the dealer deals the cards face up, two for the player and two for the banker. If the dealt cards add up to more than 9, the dealer adds the two values together and drops the first digit to get the value. For example, if a player gets a hand of 8 and 6, the value totals 14. The player should drop the 1, remaining with a hand valued at 4.

In Magic Baccarat, the goal is the same: predict the hand that’s closer to 9. Additionally, players should try to get the pairs and/or the Super 6.
